For whatever reason, my contacts are not displaying properly on Yahoo Messenger for the iPhone today. For example, if John Doe were a contact, instead of displaying the name "John Doe," it simply displays "jdoe" (i.e., their yahoo name). Also, when you click on contact details, all of the contact details are missing. This is a problem, because then you cannot SMS someone from within Yahoo Messenger. It worked fine up until today and then, all of a sudden, contacts are not displaying properly. I deleted the app, reset the iPhone, and re-installed, and that did not help. Anybody else having this problem today? Anybody know how to fix it?
I am too... i have no way of getting out of my conversation with a particular contact. I cannot access other contacts. I have the running list of the chats, witht the keyboard at the bottom. If i scroll up to the top, i see the bar that allows me to send a photo, or call up the contact for a video or voice call. Thats it. I have emailed yahoo, but no response as of yet.
