I have a lot of applications on the app store. I have a good idea on sales patterns, life span of my applications or whatever. I made a very simple applications about a year ago which is called glowstick. In all honesty, it took 15 minutes to make. When it first came out it sold about 50 copies a day for about 20 days (back in the day when the app store had 5000 apps) I updated it in July for no reason other than two add a new option and it sold 60 copies for 2 days and it dropped off the face of the Earth. Around the middle of August it sold about 160 copies and has averaged about 60-100 a day ever since. I can't find any evidence of it being featured or even being reviewed online by a website. The only thing I could think of is that the new free glowstick was mistaken for mine. It really doesn't make any sense, it has a 1 star overall rating with about 200 reviews and it really isn't that good. I didn't expect it to do anything. Maybe everybody types glowstick in the search box? I'm not complaining, but can anyone explain what happened. I have another game I spent a month on and it doesn't even match this.
