Anodyne is revolutionary in that it is a full fetured port of a popular indie iOS game. There were some "hick-ups" initially and the UI isn't great; but I'm glad to have the title on iOS imperfections and all. It's a good step towards PC developers seeing iOS gaming as a viable marketplace and I'm disappointed to see some of the backlash it's getting. I'd rather have an imperfect port of a great game, than no game at all. Also Anodyne has a great post-game mode allowing you to access even more secret areas and easter egges in a New Game+ fashion.
Well I decided to buy it. Played for 10 minutes so far. IMO the problem with this game is not that it needs a physical control... It's that the D-pad is really horrible, there are tons of games with better implementations than this one. Not worth the buck I spent (again just my opinion).
