I usually only watch the tryouts to see all the crappy singers, but I did watch tonight because my roomates love the show. Apparently Kris Allen winning was a big upset?
I barely ever watch it anymore (I also only watch the crappy singers ), but I remember him being... forgettable. He doesn't stand out, to me at least.
wrong, it is a singning competition, not a screaming competition. had it been the latter adam would have won. however judging singing voices kris clearly was the better.
um rockstars come in all shapes and sizes, and he doesn't just scream he CAN scream, but he actually had a really good voice
I had this feeling Kris would win even though I thought Adam did better overall in the past few weeks. Adam goes a bit too far with the "screaming" sometimes, and that's something not a lot of people like. IMHO, the show yesterday was not as great as it should have been. It's tough to beat the showdown between Cook and Achuleta.
American Idol sucks imo.....All the drama...Anyways I dont watch it but some sings have amazing voices
this He dosent have nearly the versatility that kris has shown. Look at it this way: Kris will by far make a better album than adam would have (and still might), but Adam takes the live shows. Which makes sense, seeing as he is a theatre jock. So everyone wins in this case
