    Hi Candyjet,

    the basics are:

    - First build a Solar Inventory beside the hypergate of your solar system. You need it to connect pipelines to your system in the galaxy view.
    - Build a Pipeline beside your solar system in the galaxy view and connect it to your system. When you tap on the pipeline now, you see all the resources of your colonies in the system.
    - Build an Energy Distributor and connect it to the pipeline. So it has access to the energy supplies and can distribute it to the cannons.
    - Build cannons platforms and connect the distributor to every cannon. 4 cannons should work for the first attack. Now wait until the distributor transmitted energy to every cannon.

That's it. Now your can tap the 'attack' button.

I hope this little instruction makes it clearer how the system works.

When you built energy collectors as example you may wish not to attack the Ci'Tan-Energy Beings with your cannons untill they are consumed by your collectors. Or when you begin to build your first defence you may not wish the first cannon to shoot until you constructed more cannons.

Thank you for playing the game. I hope you all enjoy it,
    Stefan (Dev, Programmer, Code Monkey)

    Thanks Stefan,

It's all beginning to make sense. Am enjoying it much more than Starbase Orion.

A "save" option would be great though!

    Happy Christmas

Starbase Orion is amazing, but this does truly have potential to overshadow it.

Havelcek, why can't you finish the game? Have you found all ark ship parts? If yes you have to find the black hole and escape with the arkship through the black hole.

We are really honoured by your feedback so far. Even the complaints about the in-app purchases helped and we still can 100% guarantee that this game is not based on in-app purchases.

We also would like to know what things you miss in the Alien Tribe 2 because we want to create the best game we can and we plan to release as much updates as possible even as a small indie dev team. What shall we add in the next updates?

I'm the guy with the game at the 5 1/2 hour mark where the clouds are shooting farther than my guns. I had to stop playing because they were systematically destroying all of my galaxy infrastructure. I think the game is awesome and am looking forward to getting back to it.

Once you've got through the black hole, is that he end of the level, or the whole game?

Thanks for the positive feedback. We are planning to change a few things with the energy clouds in the next update because we never thought that someone would play Alien Tribe 2 for such a long time.

I think I mentioned this before: Have you ever tried to change the infrastructure of weapons? Also research galactic sight and firepower might help? Or warships which attack the clouds?

I must confess, I am a little baffled by this game. What should I be concentrating on, the challenges, or getting the bits for the Arkship.

I've had 2 complete Arkships now, but I always end up with my infrastructure destroyed by an invisible enemy, which after a couple of hours spent getting so far, is disheartening.

I'm sure there is a great game hidden in here, but a little more guidance wouldn't harm.

    Repair station?

I've had a repair station in my first play-through, but in my second I didn't get it at all. Is it unlocked by something I didn't realize?

[Edited to add] More specifically, the repair ship wasn't an option for this second play through, I could never build it. It's non-obvious what's unlocked when throughout the game.

In hindsight, it'd be really nice if there was a list of all the quests/goals somewhere along the way. Since they're more important than random achievements (bonus points, items, or as pointed out above, even auto-introducing a new galaxy, etc), it'd be really cool if those were cataloged somewhere.

Anyway, definitely enjoying it. Way too much in fact, I should be sleeping!

Send your arkship into the blackhole, win game. Once you create it, the enemies start flooding you, so I pretty much give up on my infrastructure and follow/escort the arkship with whatever ships I have left to ensure it has safe travels so we can escape the galaxy.

The hint about what to do at that point was somewhere in the tutorials, iirc.

When you built the Arkship, the Maloc begin to start attack after attack.

Send your Arkship to your colonized solar systems and wait until the small colony ships from the colonies reached your Arkship. Every collected population unit means more score. When you picked up the Fifos head to the eye of the next Black Hole.

The Arkship will leave this sector through the Black Hole and you win the game.

You may not collect the Fifo and reach the Black Hole empty, but then you will earn a low endscore.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi Psifertex,

have you solved expansion quest layer 1. The 'Repair Station' build option is in expansion quest layer 2: 'Have 2 Energy Collectors'.

The only overview is the 'Missions' button at the right side at the moment. Please check often what missions are open to finish the current quest layers.
I think about an overview for all remaining quest layers in a category.

Thank you for playing the game. I hope you enjoy it.

    Hi Candyjet,

the game is saved every 2 Minutes for savety. When you quit the current game over the game menu or when the game jumps to the background, the game is saved too.

You can always continue your game at the main menu.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

Yes, thanks Stefan, I get that.

What I would like is to be able to reload a saved game from an earlier point, so that I can try different tactics without having to start all over again. I've had 3 two-hour plus games now, where I get trashed just as I have the Arkship complete, and its getting a bit annoying.

Hah! Yes, I hadn't actually noticed that menu option for my first play-throughs. Whoops! In fact, I hadn't noticed the marketplace either. Makes life a lot easier when you spend those saved up GEO's.

    Thanks!

Excellent game. The art style, game mechanics are right down my ally.

I have been playing this game pretty heavly and I am ready for some new scenarios or an enemy that you would have to build up your strength and defeat. Maybe even a free play mode would be excellent.

I have heard you plan on fixing the issue where the cloud enemies stop growing so strong that they crush you because they eventually outrange you, any other plans for new scenarios or play modes?

I have now finished it a couple of times.

I love the game mechanics, but it desperately needs more scenarios. There's talk of 45 missions in the App Store, but really there's only one, isn't there?

The first update is in the works and yes it will fix the cloud enemies issue. It will also have a few new features and some minor bug fixes. For example it will have the overview for all missions. We hopefully will submit it to Apple by the end of the week.

Our mission still is to make the game better and better which each update. So if you have ideas for new scenarios or play modes please let us know. I've had a discussion with Stefan (Ukando) yesterday and we talked about of a couple of things like integration of diplomacy (I think this would be great) or easing the micro management if the Malloc destroy your infrastructure. We think the rebuilding of pipelines costs a lot of time after an attack and is sometimes really annoying.

Right now it is more defending your infrastructure and solar system and we also talked about attacking an enemy. This would make the warships much more important.

So if you have any suggestions, ideas or scenarios please let us know.

The main goal of the game is to build the ark ship and to escape. The 45 missions / quests are not like different game scenarios. We will include in one of the next updates gamecenter achievements and we talked about a new enemy / scenario but this will be a BIG update in the future.
