You will have to wait a little longer. Step by step: currently I'm implementing the AI of the opponent for the single player mode. Trickier then I though. After that the programming of the combat action will follow...then then single player mode is done...time for the 1vs1 multiplayer. Maybe around 2 month for the single player development and 1 or 2 for the multiplayer and the polishing. The betatest can start as soon as the single player mode is finished, so if you like to apply...please send me your UDID an give me some more time.
My sound artist completed the fantastic score for Agents! today - let me share this tune with you: Agents! theme (c) 2010 Fancy Factory
Oh! I wish I had enuff time to beta test Will surely listn to da track & let you kno... just some othr day All the best with the game again
Simply tap at the position where the main character should walk to and he will walk to this position. The gameplay is very, very easy - you tap at the floor, the doors, furniture assets or enemys and the character will complete the corresponding action like walking, searching, placing explosives or attacking automatically. By sliding the finger the camera rotates around the player. So basically a "one finger" game. As soon as the beta starts I will have a first video ready so you can see what I'm talking about.
I can help beta test and share thoughts, feedback, and ideas at the same time if your interested like for starters................ idk what you have in mind but, i think there should be objectives like: -find/collect the most intel? -deathmatch; kill or be killed -destroy or protect an NPC or a piece of evidence -hot potato; you have to take an object from point A to point B to earn points; during this game your invisible on the radar, when you pick up the object you and only you becomes visible on the radar, the player to deliver the most objects from a random point A to another random point B wins -man hunt where each player takes turns as either the hunter or the hunted and who ever lasts the longest as the hunted wins -thats all i can come up with off the top of my head..... i would need to see gameplay vids to understand what your engine is like/capable of and the gameplay mechanics you have implemented so far to get a better idea, but from what i see in the screenshots........... -theres not going to be much depth to the combat system -or any skill involved -its the person with the better more powerful weapon that will always win and/or the person to who shoots first -as in you cant move and shoot simultaneously -however there may be some complex timing involved that might redeem that to a certain extent; like a maching guns firing rate might be capable of doing some serious damage before a rocket even gets launched -and the fact that you can switch between weapons -well balanced... -instead of weapons populated on the map just have each unique spy basically be a class with its own unique loadout? idk just some thoughts off the top of my head........ hope this helps Plus: i have google apps and intern management experience
Yes, I'm interested. Thanks! If you like to participate in the beta please send me your device UID and some more infos about your gaming experience via PM. You have never played Spy-vs-Spy I guess? No problem, but you should give this classic a try for a better understanding. You can play the original C64 version via Java in your browser from here: http://c64s.com/game/1620/spy_vs._spy/ Its all about "capture the flag" and black humor. You have found the best weapon available? This means nothing if you try to open a door with a well placed explosive set by your opponent...*boom*... But the game is not over when you die. You will start again in an other room with a basic weapon setup and can go on for revenge. Whoever finds the 4 secret documents and makes it's way (alive) to the exit door wins the current session. Not the one with the better weapons. There will be a highscore with the best times. You mentioned some nice ideas - but to be honest - I dont want to change the original gameplay at all (mostly). The most importand change I've done is that there will be more weapon types available (original: only a knive) with different fire rates and damage output. After taking damage you can run away to regain your health. As soon as I have the singleplayer mode ready I will provide a gameplay video. But its really a lot of fun...ok, if this the developer says it means nothing...but it really is.
