    Official Press Release:

Sinecure Industries, an app development start-up, is looking to reinvent the way we look at charity and altruism in their new free iPhone app "Acts of Kindness," which released today. The idea behind "Acts of Kindness" is to appeal to the inherent goodness in people and channel it through the fast-paced, on the go attitude that mobile users have adopted.

"Acts of Kindness" features over 300 charitable actions—from simple gestures like “say thank you to everyone” and “call a neglected relative,” to far-reaching ideas like “initiate a graffiti cleanup program in your town.” "Acts of Kindness" hopes to catch people with free time who are looking to make a positive change. A small, positive change can go a long way to making the world a better place, and ‘Acts of Kindness’ hopes to plant the seeds in each user.

In addition to individual actions, the app also links to over 100 charities to encourage involvement of the user through a direct donation of time or money. "Acts of Kindness" includes large organizations such as Goodwill, The Salvation Army, United Way and Kiva, but also hopes to bring attention to lesser known charities such as Fire Corps, Autism Speaks and Heifer International. By pressing the “Learn More” button, over 100 charities are a click away.

Now it is easier than ever before for people to take action and do good. Whenever there is extra time a person can open "Acts of Kindness" and be inspired. Whether donating old clothes, volunteering at a charity or giving livestock to a developing village, every action has a positive outcome, and those positive acts reverberate through the people they affect.

Social Networking also plays a strong role in getting people involved. "Acts of Kindness" contains a quick and easy share feature that allows users to tell their friends and colleagues what they’ve decided to do on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or through e-mail. Volunteering with friends is a rich and rewarding experience and Sinecure Industries hopes to bring out the best in people with "Acts of Kindness."

"Acts of Kindness" is free to download from the Apple App Store. Sinecure Industries’ has also vowed to donate 25% of all revenue generated from in-app advertising to Goodwill International.
