If they're mad at you after all those A's I'd give them a C in parenting.

Lol.... my parents would... well, they'd question it more than anything and be proud of the A's, but get mad at the C. Then again, they expect all A's/B's even though I'm taking 3/4 academic honors classes not counting Spanish (which I'm taking regular Spanish 3). I'm a sophmore as well and it's a bummer.... They give so much work (if you're like me at all) that I really can't blame you.

Just curious, but what sort of grades do you usually get?

They're gonna submerge you in a bathtub filled with ice, duct-taping multiple layers of saran wrap of the the top so that you don't escape.

Ahhh... maybe Chinese Water Torture at most...

I'm thinking they won't care. One good grade doesn't usually hurt it if the rest are good enough. They'll probably just ask what it was about, say you forgot an assignment here and there because you were busy with other work (lol... sometimes that works) and they should be relatively cool with it. Don't sweat it, if you're doing good otherwise they should be fine.

And does the teacher like you? Sometimes they'll find ways of improving grades if you participate in their class. I know that's brought grades from B's to A's before... participation is a lifesaver sometimes.

Kind of hard for complete strangers who have never met your parents to judge.

I don't think the average parent would be too upset though.

My parents.... jeez, all a's (and i'm in ap classes and take extra stuff too) and I got one C and they flipped out.

    They defined "flipped out".

"YOU GOT A C????" "But.... I got all other A's." SO WHAT????!!! It's STILL A C!!!!! YOU'RE GROUNDED FROM EVERYTHING!!!"

They forgot, though. I got lucky. :)

YES! THAT'S EXACTLY IT! Well, minus the grounding since I don't really get grounded... They do flip out despite my 3 honors classes, one of which gives a project pretty much every time we finish one... so it's just not fun. And they said that it's a normal amount of work and that they got the same amount when they were in school. Yeah, right.

Lol, I don't go to a private school, but honors sure ain't easy... It just feels constant, and I have a procrastination issue (self-diagnosed), so I always leave it for a day or two before and then I have issues trying to do something and then I'm up past midnight doing projects that I started at no later than 3 o'clock. In fact, I started one before afternoon once on the day it was due (lol, stayed home to do it) and ended up staying up until 11:30 doing it... and then tried to convince my dad to let me go get Modern Warfare 2 at midnight lol... Simply put, it's not easy. Especially when you have like 2 projects and an essay all at the same time. Yes, that's happened.

I've had 4 projects and 2 mid-term exams on the same day.
You have no idea what I've gone through.
