I don't think we're going to see any more $0.99 games from Big Fish. I think they had their initial sales just to get us all hooked on their games and now believe they no longer have to reduce prices (except for 1 lousy game a week).

I have stopped paying $6.99 for any of iPad their games - at that price I'll buy the PC version and play it on my laptop. They have many 50% sales on their PC games, so their PC version is often cheaper than the iPad version.

 

They are having a sale on their Mac titles but as far as iPhone goes I think you're right.

 

They tweeted me to be patient they will have a sale but not across the whole catalog. I argued my point that they usually have a summer sale so we will see. I think the reason no sale is their new cloud service they are going to release this month, it will allow you to access 100 games for a subscription or possibly ad supported

 

A cloud service for iOS games? I know they are planning one later this year which excludes iphone/ipod games (it will only be for android, pc, mac and web-enabled TV).

 

Check their blog it includes android and iOS game it will release this month. Seems neat to me hope the price is right

 

The rest of the year: games go free.

Holidays/special events: games go on sale.

It excludes iOS games. BFG tried to offer a cloud service in the app store last year, but it was axed by Apple.

Actually the blog doesn't mention iOS but I read an article that said they displayed it on the iPad (won't let me paste the link to the article using the TA app)

Yes I remember that well but I believe they have found a fix for it, probably allowing apple to get some revenue

I hope so too they also said they will continue to release new games individually so it's a win win if it does happen. Me too I own most of them just not the newer ones since they don't do the intro sales anymore

I saw 3 posts on different websites aboutt Gameloft's sale. The list I got came directly from a major website ios article but the website is based in England. If anyone is in England, can you check to see if it is going on there? That would be really ironic since they lost control of the US on July 4th.

Anyway, maybe they will post today at 8 pm like it usually happens here, or maybe they submitted late to Apple so it will be their this weekend. I hope they didn't change their mind and pull their sale cause I like their games.

The big sale from big fish games.. They doubled the weekly spotlight so instead of one game on sale there are two! Wow how exciting... I own both already... What a disappointment

 

Oh oh, I bought it too but havent played it yet. But I used to play the board game when I was young. Hope I 'm not dissapointed but even if I am, I won't mind cause I got air mail for a buck, and I will think of risk as an added bonus.

Wonder if multiplayer mode is any good?
