This has really annoyed me, you can no longer double click the home button in an app/browser to bring up the music controls. It quits the app you're in and opens up your library. Obviously this is crap if you want to do something like play music again after watching a YouTube video or while intake you want to skip a track. Is this intentional or a bug and does anyone know how to make it work again??
Well, you can go to Settings>General>Home. Press iPod so the next time you double-click you it will open up the iPod app. That's the closest I can get to getting the iPod.
when the jailbreak for 3.1 comes out, jailbreak and install "ipodpop". that is the only solution i can think of.
Including this, I have also noticed sometime when you are playing an album (Let's use Rob Thomas's "cradlesong" album for example.) any you hit the repeat song button. It will play "Her Diamonds" one time if that is what you are listening (again, using this as an example), then go to the next song one the album "Gasoline" and repeat that song instead.
OS 3.1 is all messed up. The recently added songs is not in the correct order, and is all scrambled, and for tv shows, if lets say, family guy is the show and you have 3 seasons, it won't sort by seasons and will jumble it all up and **** with the order. Sucksssss
I am having this exact same problem on 3.0.1 . If music is playing it works but if it is not playing it closes the app and opens up the library.
No, in 3.0 and earlier you could double tap home button and it would bring up the music overlay even when music was not playing so yo could start it.
