They scale up only if you defeat them. Non-bosses scale up based on the Awakening level.
A lot faster, more health, more damage, more frequent skills (the perks that they gain), and they perform their step back combos a lot more often....

It is updated. The original had really low resolution graphics. This, crisper, sharper and a higher polygon count.
Teleporter seems like a solid idea, my suggestion is to make it "teleporting while firing or even reloading" to make it more useful than the usual...
