I think they modeled the gun off the G18, but used some creative licensing. @Es Wouls you guys at Gameloft being willing to consider updating...
In the pistols section on the website you can see something that looks like a G18, however it is 3 round burst instead of Full-Auto.
Since I assume GL doesn't have an English Masters, I think by modern they probably mean +/- 5 years. For example MW3 took place around 2017 (I think).

Guys when it says 5 different enhancements I think it means something like in MW3 where you have individual perks for your weapon.
