Its a trend based on eastern time that they start approvals at 2pm and do more every hour. Click on the new games tab on the website header to see...
Hopefully...that's when they do their first round of approvals.
Unfortunately most people don't really think this way. If they did there would be alot less people complaining.

Ah, I see what you're saying. I dont think thats too bothersome b/c dlc is optional.
bunny will be a dollar, and perhaps with a future update a new character will be packaged with the bunny purchase like santa and zombie gore.
The dlc wouldn't cost more...it would be the same price in this case. 99 cents for zombie bunny.

That can be true or MS chose that date for the update to be put on the app store regardless if it was approved before.
