Thundara should be able to hit for a lot more than a thousand if you have a level 24ish Rydia. Do you have the 4 star wand from the elite...

Yeah... its tough to get FFVII bonuses currently on anything but melee characters (Tifa and Cloud)... so it's tough to rely on that for this boss....
