I agree on wanting an offline mode. As an iPod Touch user, I don't have constant internet access, so I never buy games with no offline component.

Try out the Lite. It's not a game for everyone, but I personally would count it as my near-favorite or favorite iPhone game... ever. It's amazing.

Yes! Visual hitboxes should be a requirement for shmups in my opinion. Makes dodging bullets so much more calculable.
