I highly doubt SE would add major features in past titles. They are used to consoles where once a game has been released you move forward

Square doesn't usually post stuff during the usual appstore releases. FF4 TAY was posted on a monday if i remember correctly

They probably delayed the release until the game breaking bug is fixed
I'm guessing it's going to be like the previous FF games they relreased and it will support the iPad natively
As long as they come up with a patch quick it wouldn't be too bad. Apple can get emergency patches out in less than 24 hours (usually closer to 12)
There's no way to please everyone, just look at the amount of people who complained when it was rereleased for the PSX and GBA. At least this time...
