You can choose to publish your scores to your news feed, compare scores with other facebook friends. Scrabble will even let you play against...
With all the buzz about this game I finally bought it. Enjoying it so far -- it seems like a great pick and up play quickly type game.
I think it's extremely well polished and plays like a full PSP or DS game would.
