You need to complete the first level of the intelligence mission: 'Shana's trial' That is the same one which levels her up btw.
As soon as you have a squire you will have access to loads of materials.

I contacted support again. None the wiser, I which they would communicate a bit clearer. Either they are working on a fix or this game is lost....

I know they told us to be patient, but a year almost without even any date of a fix is frustrating.
