You're correct. It actually fits an mmo much better than I expected. No worries about lag, more tactical play and just much less used as a system.

Archetype has exactly that, it's currently only avaliable in some euro countries though, and is expected to have a worldwide rollout eventually.

Westward is one I think is legitimately fairly unknown. Really enjoyed it and one of the few apps I've actually completed.
