I did about 15 minutes ago. Man, the main end-of-game boss is pretty easy if you have the giant laser mounted to the front and firing.
7:43 of total game time and all but 3 sectors cleared. Damn this game is addictive!

Oddly enough, the music does change later on in the game when tackling the final sectors. It grew on me as well. It's kind of like Beverly...
